Fresh Peach Slush

Today’s recipe is simply delicious.  It is a family favorite every fall.  If you have any peaches still, whip this up in a few minutes, freeze, then enjoy with your favorite lemon-lime soda!

4 C fresh peaches, peeled and quartered

2/3 C lemon juice

1 1/2 C sugar

3 C water

Peel peaches, cut into quarters, puree in blender.  Pour into a large bowl.  Add the rest of ingredients and stir well.

Then pour into the freezer container of your choice.

Let freeze for a good 48 hours.  When ready to serve, take out of freezer for 10-15 minutes.  Then using a fork, scrape layers of the slush into a glass.

Add lemon-lime soda, give it a bit of a stir, and wa-la, you have a fun, fancy drink for a party.

I hope you have a wonderful weekend!  I am hoping my baby gets over the stomach bug going around our house.  And also our family will be watching what our church calls General Conference.  We love this weekend because it means lots of treats, cinnamon rolls, and wonderfully uplifting messages we can watch in our pj’s.:)  You can watch it here on Saturday and Sunday.

Life is Good.  Share the Good.
